New kid

It's almost like I have a new child. Kaiden is improving at a speed I never expected. Yesterday the ABA therapists were in Shock. He was doing everything they asked. Even his new tasks he was doing correctly on the first try. They were asking him to repeat sounds, do fine motor skills he has never done, and many other things I've never seen him be able to do. We all (me, dad, stepmom) worked with him everyday over the break and even then I noticed that it all seemed to be clicking a little faster. Now I'm not saying he doesn't have symptoms anymore but they are reducing daily. They say that an autistic child will never be symptom free and I understand that. At daycare he is sitting with the group for longer periods than he used to be able to, he is taking non stop, his breakdowns have reduced tremendously and he is enjoying everyday things like a 2.5 year old should. There are still moments when he "stems" but compared to say November and December, it's incredible. The amount of people praying for Kaiden everyday has been a HUGE factor in these strides. God hears prayers. It's that simple. I believe 100% in the power of prayer and how my Lord can change things. I am a perfect example of this. Put God first in your life and amazing things will happen. He will beat this.
